Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Lumide (BDKM LLC, “we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Lumide, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. If you sign in, your email address (via our auth provider). If you don’t sign in, a random anonymous identifier stored in a cookie so we can hold your credits and games.
- Content you create. The prompts you type, the games you generate, and any games you publish to the gallery (which are public, with a display name).
- Payment information. Processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your purchases and your plan, but we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage & technical data. Your IP address, browser/device info, and interactions with the service, used for security, abuse prevention (rate limiting), and improving Lumide.
- Cookies. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain your account and credit balance. We don’t use them for third-party advertising.
2. How we use information
To provide and operate Lumide, generating games, metering and granting credits, processing payments, running the gallery and moderation, securing the service and preventing abuse, sending you essential messages (like sign-in links and receipts), and improving how it all works.
3. AI processing
When you create a game, the prompt and related data are sent to AI providers to generate code and assets. This processing is necessary to deliver the service and is subject to those providers’ terms.
4. Service providers we share data with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share only what’s needed with providers that help us run Lumide:
- Anthropic, generates your games from your prompts.
- Supabase, database, account storage, and authentication.
- Stripe, payment processing.
- OpenAI and Tripo, generate game art/3D characters, when those features are enabled.
- Our hosting provider, runs the application.
These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own policies.
5. Public content
Games you choose to publish to the gallery, along with the display name shown on them, are public and may be played, shared, and remixed by others. Don’t publish anything you want to keep private.
6. Data retention & your choices
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your associated account data, subject to records we must retain (e.g. payment records).
7. Children
Lumide isn’t directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum age in your country), and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we’ll delete it.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including keeping secret keys server-side and letting Stripe handle card data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
9. International users
Lumide is operated from, and your information may be processed in, the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using Lumide you consent to this transfer.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, additional notice.
