Terms of Service
Welcome to Lumide. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and BDKM LLC (“Lumide”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Lumide, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
1. What Lumide is
Lumide lets you create playable games by describing them in plain language. We use AI models to generate game code and assets, host the games you make, and offer an optional public gallery where you can publish them.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, e.g. 16 in parts of the EEA) to use Lumide. If you’re under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission.
3. Your account
You can use Lumide anonymously, or sign in with email or Google. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Credits, plans & billing
- Credits are a prepaid license to use Lumide’s compute (game generation, asset creation). They are not money, have no cash value, and are not redeemable or transferable.
- Subscriptions (Creator, Pro, Studio) renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current period except where required by law. Monthly plan credits do not roll over.
- Credit packs are one-time purchases; the credits are permanent but, once delivered, are non-refundable.
- Consumed credits are non-refundable. Generation is metered and charged when you build.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; we don’t store your card details. Prices may change with reasonable notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Lumide to create, publish, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, or harmful. In particular, you may not create or share content that sexualizes minors (zero tolerance), harasses or threatens others, promotes violence or hate, or violates others’ intellectual-property or privacy rights. You also may not abuse the platform, including attempting to bypass rate limits or credit metering, scrape or resell the service, disrupt it, or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law permits.
6. Your content
You’re responsible for the prompts you enter and the games you create. You retain your rights in the games you make. When you publish a game to the gallery, you grant Lumide a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and promote it on and through the service, and you confirm you have the rights to do so. We may remove, hide, or take down any content at our discretion - for example, in response to reports or policy violations.
7. AI-generated content
Games and assets are generated by AI and provided “as is.” Output can be imperfect, inconsistent, or unexpectedly similar to existing works, and may be regenerated differently each time. We don’t warrant that generated content is original, accurate, or free of third-party rights, and you’re responsible for how you use it. Generation also relies on third-party AI providers and is subject to their usage policies.
8. Intellectual property
Lumide and its underlying software, design, and brand are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms don’t grant you rights in Lumide itself, only the right to use the service as described.
9. Disclaimers
Lumide is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumide will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50.
11. Termination
You can stop using Lumide at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service or other users.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we’ll take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use Lumide after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law & contact
